World Cup 2026 points table for Latin America

The football World Cup is upon us again, and following on from our Olympic medals points table we thought it would be fun to track the progress of Latin American countries.

We are using the traditional 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw, and competition is fierce with several Latin American nations taking part. Mexico are co-hosts and good luck to Curaçao in their first ever World Cup. We’ve also included England and Scotland for some extra rivalry.

Country Won Drawn Lost Points
Argentina 7 0 1 21
England 6 1 1 19
Mexico 4 0 1 12
Colombia 3 2 0 11
Brazil 3 1 1 10
Paraguay 1 2 2 5
Ecuador 1 1 2 4
Scotland 1 0 2 3
Uruguay 0 2 1 2
Curaçao 0 1 2 1
Panama 0 0 3 0

Argentina may have lost the final to Spain but they have come out on top in our league table. England ran them close but fell short yet again. Well done to Curaçao for picking up their first ever World Cup point!
