“We had an incredible time and I wanted to drop you a note to say thank you and fill you in on the highlights. Mashpi Lodge is remarkable, the Galapagos was extrodinary and the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu were utter highlights. All the support from the local guides was excellent. In Ecuador Marco was so thoughtful and postive and quietly eager for us to sample Ecuador both as food and as culture. Wilda, who guided us in the Sacred Valley, was incredible and hugely knowledgeable. We felt supported at all times and were consequently able to relax and enjoy all around us.
We have returned loaded with photographs and memories and are beginning to think about returning at some stage – the Eastern Galapagos route is calling and we do want to go down to Patagonia. We have other plans coming up, but may well be back in touch in a year or so. Argentina/Chile
“Our holiday in Argentina was terrific. Having never been to North-west Argentina before I was completely amazed and entranced by the beauty and magestic scenery that we encountered. Difficult to pick one highlight as there were so many. Campo Piedra Pomez, Las Senoritas Gorge and the Serranias del Hornocal are just a few of the beautiful places we visited. All the arrangements went very smoothly, apart from the bus delay and then the electrical blackout in Chile! We could say it all added to our adventure!

“Back safely after an incredible and truly memorable 3 weeks – during which I also reached pension age and we became grandparents! Peru
“Peru was quite simply the most amazing holiday, I still can hardly believe we have done it. We both cannot thank you enough for organising it for us. Everything ran like clockwork the whole team of people who looked after us were so kind, friendly and efficient and our accommodation was brilliant - just perfect. As for highlights there were so many. Ale, our guide on the first day in Cusco was phenomenal and some of the Inca temples just blew me away. Machu Picchu of course and don’t even get me started on the rain forest I cried when I left. Our guide Fernando was just amazing. We ended up with 3 days at Tambopata - what a place so peaceful we left so much more knowledgeable and enriched. I have some amazing photos and so will be able to look back and remember what was the holiday of a lifetime and the holiday of dreams. Brazil
“We had the time of our lives and I had no idea Brazil was so special! Iguaçu particularly blew us away and the Pantanal was fabulous too. We saw lots of jaguars, yes - on every drive in fact. We didn’t see an anteater or tapir but lots of other mammals and birds of course and it was the jaguar we wanted most. Rio was huge fun and the carnival seats were fantastic - right in the middle by the judges so we enjoyed all the special antics for them. We loved Brazil so much that we’re thinking of Montevideo and Argentina next year as our niece is going to study in Uruguay! We will no doubt be in touch. Argentina
“We had a wonderful time in Argentina really enjoying the sunshine and heat and the boys had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed their dove shooting in Cordoba. At Iguazú the boat trip on the Argentina side went into the falls, really special and thrilling and the Brazilian side was great to see too as you don't realise how big and impressive they are. The scenery in the Salta region was stunning, stripy mountains, salt flats and cacti and we even got to see snow on the mountain tops. Our guide was superb, very knowledgeable and didn’t bombard us with too much information. He made some excellent lunch recommendations and was a great companion on our activities at Estancia Pampa Grande, it was sad to say goodbye. We enjoyed Buenos Aires at the end too. Mexico
“Thanks so much! I wanted to write and say thank you so much for all of your help and all of your planning! We had a great time. We LOVED our guide in Oaxaca - he is amazing and knows so much! Our full day with him and visiting Monte Alban and visiting the family for lunch (and to see their weaving/rugs), that was definitely a highlight. Ecuador/Galapagos
“A fabulous trip that exceeded my expectations. I loved Ecuador and all the different areas visited, which included the Amazon, Hacienda Cusin near Otavalo, Cotopaxi and the Galapagos Islands, where the wildlife blew me away. All the arrangements ran like clockwork and Marco, my local guide, went out of his way to show me as much as possible in this wonderful country. Argentina
“We had a fantastic time in Argentina, thank you, it was a great adventure.
The boys had a memorable time shooting in Cordoba (I had a go too) and Estancia Pampa Grande was something very special (and, yes, I rode - another achievement!). The guides looked after us very well, we ate like kings and the accommodation was fabulous. The falls were very impressive and it was great to see them on both sides, the scenery in the Salta region amazing and the estancia was heaven! Beautiful people, lots of things to discover and treated like royalty.
All in all, we had the most amazing time, which ran super-smoothly and professionally. We were so well looked after all the way around and would recommend these places to our friends.” - MA travelled in February 2026
Ecuador/Galapagos
“Our trip was amazing. We were so impressed with how organised everything was, it really was ridiculously easy for us. At every point there was someone waiting who knew exactly where we should be going, what we needed etc.
I know that most people go to the Amazon before Galapagos, which I understand, but for us I preferred the order in which we did it. I think I would have been wishing the time away waiting to head to Galapagos, and our kids thought that the wildlife experience was just as good. On that point, we were really lucky. We finished Galapagos snorkeling with hammerheads, Galapagos and white tip reef sharks. We also got to swim with penguins, sea lions, turtles and so many fish. We are generally spoiled at home in terms of snorkeling/diving but this was incredible. At Napo, in the Amazon, we got to see the giant river otters hunting, carrying their young and generally messing around which was incredible. So at the risk of waffling on, our wildlife encounters were incredible and not just for the twitchers in the family.
The respective accommodations were excellent. We were very lucky on our boat that we were with a lovely family. Given that it was so small, it would have been a very different experience if they weren't so lovely. The guides we had were all very knowledgeable and friendly.

“We had a really excellent holiday and want to thank you very much for all your hard work, especially with the inevitable hitches and glitches. I also finished reading the Brian Keenan and John McCarthy book you sent me. It was wonderful and it's such a great and unique idea to send a book to your clients. The ground services were all super with good communication, punctual and friendly. The Australis cruise lived up to expectations and the cabin, food, service, excursions etc. were superb. El Chalten was my favourite part of the trip. I loved the relaxed, laid back vibe, we had perfect walking weather and I loved being able to hike straight out the door, no park fees or transport needed. Brazil
“We have had such a brilliant holiday. Everything went like clockwork and everywhere we stayed was wonderful, on the whole. Thank you so much for organising it all for us.
Latam was a great airline, all flights on time and business class very comfortable. Pousada Literaria, Paraty was a great hotel and our guide was excellent, both around the town and on the boat trip which was huge fun. Das Cataratas, Iguassu is a great hotel and we had another excellent guide. We really enjoyed Ouro and our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable guide. We were fairly churched out by the end! The tour of the gold mine was fun. Chapada Diamentina was a highlight, we loved Pousada das Aguas and our guide was excellent, and took us on wonderful treks to views, caves and waterfalls.
All the guides were extremely good at getting us checked in at the airports and making sure we had our boarding cards, which was very helpful as online was a bit tricky! We think the length of time we spent in each place was just right. 3 nights made the long journeys between stops worthwhile and not too much of a rush. Overall an excellent holiday.
