“I would like to thank you for organising the most wonderful trip for us. Everything ran so smoothly-all the pick ups and flights were great. Both the accommodation in the Pantanal and in the Amazon were really great. We had terrific guides in both and great (and plenty) of food. “We had the time of our lives and I had no idea Brazil was so special! Iguaçu particularly blew us away and the Pantanal was fabulous too. We saw lots of jaguars, yes - on every drive in fact. We didn’t see an anteater or tapir but lots of other mammals and birds of course and it was the jaguar we wanted most. Rio was huge fun and the carnival seats were fantastic - right in the middle by the judges so we enjoyed all the special antics for them. We loved Brazil so much that we’re thinking of Montevideo and Argentina next year as our niece is going to study in Uruguay! We will no doubt be in touch. Chile/Argentina/Brazil
“In a nutshell we had an amazing experience. Some extraordinarily beautiful scenery/landscapes, great people (particularly the Chileans we met), some fantastic food (everywhere) and simply a great vibe wherever we went. The only downside I would have to say is that we did too much. Looking back we could easily have spent 4 weeks just in Chile, but the temptation to see as many places as we could got the better of us and now we need a holiday to recover! Chile/Argentina
“Overall our 4 week holiday to Chile and Argentina was exceptional. Every day was different, all our guides were excellent and your little green booklet was invaluable. You took into consideration all our interests and worked within our budget to put together a trip to suit us. It was the perfect mix of guided excursions combined with some free days to be more independent, and do our own thing. The Atacama more than exceeded our expections, having a hire car in the Chilean lake district suited us very well and our stay at Cerro Guido in Patagonia was a real highlight. In Argentina we had an excellent day visiting Perito Moreno Glacier and did some great hiking, and a bike ride, in El Chalten in Los Glaciares National Park. Buenos Aires is great city and La Bandada in the Pampas was wonderful. We learnt so much and felt very spoilt at times - thank you again for organising such a wonderful trip, we will have no hesitation in recommending Last Frontiers.” - BF travelled in November 2025
Mexico
“Thanks so much! I wanted to write and say thank you so much for all of your help and all of your planning! We had a great time. We LOVED our guide in Oaxaca - he is amazing and knows so much! Our full day with him and visiting Monte Alban and visiting the family for lunch (and to see their weaving/rugs), that was definitely a highlight. The girls loved helping to grind the corn to make tortillas and to tour and eat at their house. I think they will never forget that.” - MW travelled in June 2025

“Back safely after an incredible and truly memorable 3 weeks – during which I also reached pension age and we became grandparents! Brazil
“We have had such a brilliant holiday. Everything went like clockwork and everywhere we stayed was wonderful, on the whole. Thank you so much for organising it all for us.
Latam was a great airline, all flights on time and business class very comfortable. Pousada Literaria, Paraty was a great hotel and our guide was excellent, both around the town and on the boat trip which was huge fun. Das Cataratas, Iguassu is a great hotel and we had another excellent guide. We really enjoyed Ouro and our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable guide. We were fairly churched out by the end! The tour of the gold mine was fun. Chapada Diamentina was a highlight, we loved Pousada das Aguas and our guide was excellent, and took us on wonderful treks to views, caves and waterfalls.
All the guides were extremely good at getting us checked in at the airports and making sure we had our boarding cards, which was very helpful as online was a bit tricky! We think the length of time we spent in each place was just right. 3 nights made the long journeys between stops worthwhile and not too much of a rush. Overall an excellent holiday. “We had an incredible time and I wanted to drop you a note to say thank you and fill you in on the highlights. Mashpi Lodge is remarkable, the Galapagos was extrodinary and the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu were utter highlights. All the support from the local guides was excellent. In Ecuador Marco was so thoughtful and postive and quietly eager for us to sample Ecuador both as food and as culture. Wilda, who guided us in the Sacred Valley, was incredible and hugely knowledgeable. We felt supported at all times and were consequently able to relax and enjoy all around us.
We have returned loaded with photographs and memories and are beginning to think about returning at some stage – the Eastern Galapagos route is calling and we do want to go down to Patagonia. We have other plans coming up, but may well be back in touch in a year or so. None of this could have happened without your hard work on our behalf and we thank you so much for all your help and advice.” - JP travelled in February 2025
Argentina
“We had an amazing holiday - our third trip to the country but this time it has really felt like we have been “in” Argentina. The journey from the Andes to the Atlantic was spectacular and jaw-dropping and Gwion was wonderful as a guide and friend. Sunset to ourselves with the colony of 600,000 Magellanic penguins at Estancia San Lorenzo was very special.” - I&LW travelled in January 2025

“Thank you for organising our wonderful trip. It really was fantastic. Highlights are VERY hard, but… Jaguars (of course), plus giant anteater, armadillos and even a glimpse of a maned wolf that even got the guide excited! The Iguazu Falls were stunning, as was the bird park. Football was awesome,... and there was the helicopter ride (amazing surprise so thank you for keeping the secret).” - JH&ML travelled in June 2024

“Thank you for organising our trip, we had a great time and the pace of the trip was about right. There was a lot to see but the real highlights were the Serrania de Hornacal with the rock formations and colours and also the journey across the altiplano from Tarija to Tupiza. Iguazu was, of course, spectacular but a bit more expected so didn’t stand out as much.” - PC travelled in August 2023
Costa Rica
“Overall the itinerary was great and we felt the number of night stays in each location was about right. Our local representative was absolutely great, a very good communicator and was really ‘on it’ in terms of keeping us up to date on everything. The Costa Rican people are all delightful and generally extremely welcoming and the level of spoken English was exceptional. The internal flights were good and obviously got us around quickly but we really did enjoy having the freedom to explore in our rental car. A great holiday, thank you very much for all your help and advice, and we feel that overall we did get to really explore the country which is, of course, helped by having a car to go off and do your own thing. Driving in Costa Rica was easy once you’d become accustomed to the local traits.” - SJ travelled in February 2024

“We have had the best holiday we've ever had and can't thank you enough - it was fantastic. All the arrangements worked perfectly, the guides were excellent and the wine tours, in both Uruguay and Argentina, were out of this world! You listened to us when you asked what our interests were and put together a first class itinerary which ticked all the boxes. The suggested choice of accommodation was perfect for our needs and all the food delicious.
